Dear Poor Lucky Me,<\/p>\n
I was at the post office today mailing my tax returns.\u00a0 The line was so long, I mean it seemed like miles long. I was there for about 10 minutes when I started noticing something terrible.\u00a0 Something so awful I almost had the leave: people complaining about the long line. I was so pissed!<\/p>\n
What do people think they’re going to encounter at the post office on tax day?\u00a0 I mean for the love of god do people just have to complain about everything? April 15th happens every year, why are these pricks so shocked?<\/p>\n

I Get Why People Go Postal<\/p>\n
Dear Go Postal,<\/strong><\/p>\n I think that people complain so much because they have no idea how annoying they sound.\u00a0 During the winter in Chicago, we see a lot of people complaining that they are really cold- as if EVERYONE isn’t really cold in this god forsaken city in the god forsaken winter.<\/strong><\/p>\n Maybe your brain naturally blocks you from hearing the stupid things you say as a survival tactic.\u00a0 I probably would have killed myself long ago if I had a realistic idea of how I sound on conference calls, for example.<\/strong><\/p>\n People are shocked because only assholes go to the post office the day taxes are due, so it makes sense that they act like assholes.\u00a0 See?\u00a0 It’s very logical.<\/strong><\/p>\n If we start accommodating idiots all the time there will be no incentive for anyone to change.\u00a0 I’m pretty sure that’s why there were only two people working at the post office on tax day.\u00a0 I enjoyed it because I live for human drama, but I can see how normal people would think it was annoying.\u00a0 Plus, I was there filing my taxes on the last day and complaining loudly that it was crowded, just to feel like I fit in.\u00a0 I recently watched My Super Sweet 16, and I think I’ll also have a crazy blow out sweet 16 for my birthday this year.\u00a0 Also to fit in.<\/strong><\/p>\n Sincerely,<\/strong><\/p>\n Poor Lucky Me<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" Dear Poor Lucky Me, I was at the post office today mailing my tax returns.\u00a0 The line was so long, I mean it seemed like miles long.
